September 2018 The Hut committee now Shabbington VCT organised a picnic ball down on the field to raise much needed funds to keep the Hut going as funds were very low.

There were so many people involved in making this happen, Richard Oliver from Bucks Wigwams was very generous in donating the marquee (the Shabbington marquee was too small and suffering from age and a little shabby) Sophy Blandy and Nicky Buckland led the team to make the night a big success.

We were entertained by a local band called No Direction who kept the dance floor full, the Auction was a great success with our own auctioneer Will Gompertz, who finished the auction with a lot which was himself giving up his time to give a couple a guided tour of the BBC which caused some great bidding and raised a fifth of our overall total.

If you want to be the first to know when the next Ball will be held head back to the home page and get on our mailing list to be one of the first to know.
